Tunica County CDC Homebuyers Education Program: The HBE program provides pre- and post- purchasing counseling to assist first-time homebuyers. Services include credit counseling, housing counseling, financial management, mortgage, and foreclosure education. The Credit Counseling Program evaluates clients’ credit and creates a Credit Action Plan. Each year 80-100 clients receive HBE and Credit Counseling services to improve their credit in preparation for home ownership.
